The Commonwealth Games is a multi-sport action organizes after every four years involving the elite athletes of the Commonwealth of Nations. Mrs. Pratibha Patil, Indias Hon' able president, will grace the "Queen's Baton Relay, 2010" at the induction event of the Games. The most famous Indian sport personality Abhinav Bindra will be the first baton carrier to accept the esteemed baton from the hands of the Queen.
One of the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony protocols includes the marching event where all the participating countries will take part in a parade. Australia, the host nation of the Commonwealth Games, 2006 will lead the marching occasion while the present host country of the Games, 2010 i.e. India will position at last. The national anthem of India will also be played for the period of the occasion. The flags of three countries, the last host country, the current host country and the next host country, will fly at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Besides these, there will be musical programs also organize where many foreign as well as Indian performers will perform. Many renowned celebrities and personalities from sports, politics, Bollywood etc, will grace the occasion. Dazzling fireworks will also add up to the excitement and joy at the 2010 Commonwealth Games at Delhi.
